Artist's Description
This is my painting of the photo I recently posted called " Tree of Golden Light ". I tryed to capture not only the light of that remarkable day but I also tryed to create the vast sense of space that the Letchworth State Park Canyon offers. It is called the Grand Canyon of the East. I wanted to make the gorge river stand out as the tree lives majestically high up on the edge. Hope you like it.
About Judy Via-Wolff
I have a great love for nature and all God's creation. In any artworks or photos I create, I try to reflect a moment of fleeting beauty as all things are but for an instant. I love to paint and use pastels. I paint in oils, acylics, and water colors depending on the piece. I also pursue the medieval technique of egg tempera painting.I also have begun digital painting which I create from scratch with a stylus. Photography also provides an instant in time. Judy has a BFA and a Masters Degree From RIT"S School for American Craftsman and Fine art. She spent many years as a glass artist and was able to reflect the light and colors of God's creation through this medium. She won many awards over the years and enjoyed creating new works...
