No matter the season I'm waiting for Spring, And when it comes I come alive. With our dog by our side and Durand Eastman park full of nature's mysteries we set out for moments like this. Sunny is such an excellent model and He gives contrast and perpective to this moment in time. Did you know that Rochester is called the "Flower City?" We have more parks than most cities in the US and they are each truly unique and beautiful.

Love the diagonals of shadows that draw you into the painting or the light of the sky against the branches. The big old tree goes off the page on 3 sides - a great format for success and a dog figure gives it extra-special significance. Such contrast occurs between the sunshine and shadow! Then my eyes look around to see what else to observe and they can go far into the background. Very nice! v/f
